Sky above tinted with blue and black,
Painted with majestic emerald aurora.
Embellished with snowflakes falling slowly and slowly,
Mind stealing is its heart warming aura.
In the sky above the stars shimmer,
And below here do the lights.
The place fragrant with the odour of the snow,
So endearing are these magnificent Nights!
Behold I from the window of my home,
Hills concealed under that magical mist.
And here inside I'm safe and sound,
Counting upon the Christmas presents' list.
Skiing down the tallest hill,
Ice skating on the frozen lake.
Nothing compared to when,
We watch together the falling snowflake.
Impeccable is the house decor,
There's euphoria all around.
Ornaments on the Christmas tree,
Light music in the background.
Sits she on the couch,
Reading book by the fireside.
I tuck her under the quilt so warm,
And leave the coffee by her side.
Wonder I — on such an occasion,
How does she sit all alone?
The entire room is fragrant nicely,
But all I smell is her cologne.
Now, as I leave,
She holds my wrist firmly.
The eye contact says it all,
Just to sit by her side,
Does she insist warmly.
The novel is left incomplete,
Cuz there's something else that she wishes.
Sitting together; making love,
So sensual are those hugs and kisses.
