Behold I from this building so tall,
Droplets on the window glass I fondle,
They chase one another,
And down they crawl.
Though I have a book with me,
I enjoy the coffee rather.
It's all aphotic,
And this romantic weather.
So heart warming an ambience around,
With a perfectly lit fireside;
Windows are all shut completely,
So the warmth is just maintained inside.
Watching together the cascading drops,
Smelling the same petrichor.
It's all so enchanting in your presence,
It's all what I had longed for!
Those thunder-strikes scare you a little,
That is why I shackle you so tight.
And hold your hands just to comfort you,
And make you feel alright.
Sitting under this blanket so fuzzy,
Your head relaxed on my shoulder.
Fingers of us intertwined,
As the weather grows colder and colder.
Gradually departs this awaited shower,
Consoling us it will come again.
And leaves with us this hope altogether;
All credit to this soothing smell of rain.
